A lovely day was had by all who attended the ‘Whistle Stop High Tea’ ride last weekend. It couldn’t have been a more perfect autumn day for an outing in the fresh air, some exercise, and beautiful views, all accompanied by some scrumptious food provided at the ‘whistle stops’ along the way.

Riders set out from Huon Reserve and headed along the High Country Rail Trail, across the scenic Sandy Creek bridge to Tallangatta. Here participants enjoyed some sandwiches and soup which provided the energy for the return journey. As always, the best is saved ‘til last and the final stop just before the bridge was a dessert-lovers delight with all manner of cakes, slices, scones, and other delicious treats on offer.
