Join Brendon Kennedy for a cultural interpretation morning on the unique Ryans Lagoon wetlands.
A Walk 'n Talk with Brendon Kennedy – cultural tour guide, traditional land manager and craftsman. Brendon was Victoria’s first Aboriginal Landcare Officer and has extensive experience in local bush crafts and interpreting country for community members.
Learn about bushfoods and traditional land management techniques on lagoons of the Murray River. Bush tucker, materials for weaving, making tools and shelter will all be discussed as we walk.
Please wear appropriate SunSmart clothing and hat, and covered boots. BYO water bottle. Please be aware there are no facilities in the reserve.
