The Community Farm managers on Gateway Island will be drawing 'lots for plots' on Friday 10th August. The new release will allow community members to take up new vegetable plots alongside the existing Bhutanese community garden.
The new release aims to encourage cultural exchange, connection to the local environment and access to fresh organic produce for more people in Albury-Wodonga.
Individuals, groups and organisations from Albury Wodonga are welcome to submit expressions of interest for 5 metre x 5 metre private farm plots for chemical free garden beds. Watering must all be done by hand using a garden hose.
To ensure a fair and equitable process, names will be drawn from a hat for all farm plots.
Please see flyer below for more information.
