Green Army workers assisted the Friends of Willow Park to engineer an impressive transformation of the embankment on Pearce St in Wodonga this week.
The team removed woody weeds and cleaned up the site, installed rock structures, planted native plants and spread mulch.
This landscaping work is part of a larger Local Landscape Enhancement project funded by the Victorian Government and managed by Friends of Willow Park volunteers. It is well worth a wander along the creek between Brockley and Pearce streets to see what the community have achieved over the past months.
