Greg will be celebrating one year as a volunteer with Parklands in June, and has enjoyed every minute.
He joined Parklands because he was looking for something to do and much preferred being outdoors to anything else. He has come to really appreciate the bush and understand why people need to help to overcome problems with weeds and plant more native species. Greg loves the variety of the job and feels much more relaxed at work in the bush.
Greg brings immense stamina and enthusiasm for helping to maintain and improve the bush around Albury-Wodonga. He enjoys working hard because he sees such satisfying results.
A feature of volunteering for Greg is learning from the Rangers and working with the other volunteers. There is always so much to learn and so much going on, and through Parklands Greg has developed an interest in other local projects like the Regent Honeyeater project.
