Albury Wodonga Health staff, family and friends have been creating a biodiversity corridor along the Murray River with annual planting days since 2012.
Staff and their friends and families have planted corridors along Carrolls Creek, a tributary of the Murray River in West Wodonga, and the Nationally Significant Ryans Lagoon Wetlands in Bonegilla, east of Wodonga.
Many of these plants are now well established, contributing significantly to local carbon reduction, threatened species habitat, and shade and shelter for livestock on neighbouring farms.
