Volunteers are the backbone of our community management model.

You help to plan and guide our activities, give feedback on our projects and progress, are our ‘eyes on the ground’ when it comes to special finds, storm damage or ‘things needing doing’ in the parks, help run park events, plant thousands of native plants every year, monitor nest boxes in the parks, assist with park maintenance, and design, build and install park infrastructure of all kinds.

Here are a few stories of Parklands volunteers on the job.
