After 15 years of hard yakka slashing across the roughest of terrain, with much workshop time repairing, refabricating and re-welding parts, our old slasher has been retired. Ranger Danny looks forward to spring 2020 with new slasher and replacement tractor tyres for our nimble park tractor.   

The awesome autumn break and record rainfall this winter means we are looking at a significant workload this spring slashing track verges and firebreaks.  As the saying goes “a stitch in time saves nine”.  Danny is looking forward to a busy spring with minimal downtime thanks to these upgrades and preventative maintenance work.
