This week a special package arrived in our mailbox, full of cards by the Year 2 students from the Holy Spirit School in Lavington.
Ranger Danny Jones led a walk for students, teachers and parents of the school on Nail Can Hill in September, to help them learn about the threatened species living in our local bush and how we can help them to survive.
The students were totally engaged in examining the bush plants and flowers and learning about species like Squirrel gliders, and set out their appreciation with a raft of handmade cards.
On behalf of threatened species everywhere, Parklands sends thanks to the Yr 2 students from Holy Spirit, for your enthusiasm and interest, and your beautiful cards and letters.
