Wayne Bishop hangs up his welding helmet after nearly three years as our Workshop Ranger, and a few more years as a former volunteer.

Parklands Albury Wodonga thanks Wayne for his significant contributions towards making the regional parklands safe and accessible, and wish him well in his much earned retirement.

Wayne’s commitment to the environment was demonstrable as he routinely sourced all manner of steel and timber off-cuts and spare parts for his many and varied repairs, upgrades and creations of all manner of steel and timber park infrastructure and repaired our regularly utilised plant, trailers and equipment.

Wayne’s skill as a handyman was instrumental to the day to day operations here at Parklands Albury Wodonga. If there was something broken or in need of repair Wayne knew how to fix it. A structure had to be installed in a unique and challenging location? You can bet that Wayne had a few tricks up his sleeve. For this and his tireless service the past three years, we here at Parklands Albury Wodonga would like to thank Wayne and hope he enjoys retirement!
