Congratulations to the volunteers of the Tallangatta Rail Trail Advisory Group on another successful Tall Trestle Treadle in 2023. This was the 15th ‘TTT’ event, with over 70 people attending.

The event never loses it’s magic, with many old hands as well as first timers enjoying a full day of cycling the High Country Rail Trail, complete with bus transfers between sections. Of course, the delicious refreshments provided by Tallangatta group are a much anticipated highlight!

Thanks to the newly established Lifecycle Upper Murray who brought a bus load of cyclists and bikes from Corryong to join the day. Stay tuned for future cycling events planned by this new group, who are keen to get more visitors on their bikes and out exploring all that the Upper Murray has to offer.

Thanks also to the Rail Trails Australia Committee who have been quietly working behind the scenes advocating for and promoting Rail Trails across Australia, and supporting the development of the High Country Rail Trail.
