The team at Parklands Albury Wodonga give a big shout out to our resilient community for stepping up in many ways over the past challenging year, enabling our region to scale up our action on climate change and help nature adapt to the changing climate.  Our 2022 Annual Report shares stories on what an impactful year it has been!

2022 hasn’t been without its challenges for Parklands Albury Wodonga.  The year began with our team recycling over 40 tonnes of steel and timber, as we relocated from our home of 24 years at Lemke Road, Gateway Island.  As the record flood waters recede at the end of 2022 and permits are approved for our new home at Leneva, we look forward to the new chapter in 2023.

As 2022 draws to a close Parklands Board and staff are feeling more grateful than ever to be part of this vibrant giving community. We wish you an enjoyable (and adventurous!) time in nature over the festive season.  Enjoy a well-earned rest, as we will. We’ll be hitting the ground running in 2023 with plenty of exciting conservation and passive recreation projects ready to commence as soon as our water-logged parks dry out.

Our ‘office’ closes from 20 December 2022 and reopens on 31 January 2023.  During this time, our Rangers will be out in the field at first light, tackling the many weeds that a third consecutive wet summer have generated.  The office phone will only be checked sporadically so the best means of communication is via info@parklands-alburywodonga.org.au
