As will be happening in many a back yard around Albury-Wodonga, a team effort is removing a fallen tree here at the Leneva Hub this morning.

The tree fell partially into a pond, making the clean-up more difficult. A lot of planning is being done to tackle each branch in the safest and most effective way, and get them out of the water where they can be cut up and removed.

Some timber will be left in as habitat, but we really want to get the smaller branches and leaves out before they fall and rot in the water, changing the water quality and filling our educational pond with sludge and debris.
