Ranger Danny Jones was wrapt to be invited on a tour of the Apex Tool Group production floor this week.
Apex Tools staff joined Parklands Rangers for a planting day back in June, planting more than 300 native plants into a bush reserve near Baranduda.
While protecting the plants from deer and kangaroos, they noted the need for tin-snips and cable ties – used to secure the tops of the tree guards.
This week Apex Tool Group’s Keven Woodham presented Parklands with 10 pairs of top quality snips and a quantity of cable ties to make the job easier.
Danny was also treated to a tour of the Nurigong St facility, where he was fascinated to see the whole process of manufacturing Lufkin tape measures, amongst a whole range of other tools.
Our thanks to Apex Tool Group for this generous donation, on top of your willing labour on planting day.
