Friends, Landcare and local Advisory groups are volunteer groups formed by community members with a particular interest in a locality.

Parklands have a long association with several such groups including the Bonegilla, Tallangatta and Koetong High Country Rail Trail Advisory Groups, Woolshed-Thurgoona Landcare, Friends of Nail Can Hill, Friends of Wodonga Rail Trail and the Baranduda Landcare Group.

We also support the work of the many groups operating under the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network and Kiewa Catchment Landcare Groups Inc.

We welcome community involvement and encourage community members seeking to take action to improve local environmental outcomes to check the Landcare networks for existing groups, or talk with us about forming a new group in the parks that we manage.
