Parklands volunteer Sarah Thompson is a finalist in the Environment category of the 2015 RED Carpet Youth Awards.
The awards acknowledge the positive contributions of young people making a difference in the local community. A nomination, submission and interview process culminates in a gala dinner on July 31st, where finalists are recognised and the winners announced.
As an active volunteer with Parklands, Sarah has indeed made a difference to our local environment, working on a variety of projects restoring and enhancing our local ecosystems and protecting and monitoring native flora and fauna. She is a reliable, hardworking volunteer not only with us, but also with the State Emergency Service. She is a fantastic contributor and role model and we wish her all the best with her RED Carpet journey!
