The Green Army team have been keeping warm in this cooler weather by working doubly hard!

Last Thursday a team of 7 GA volunteers and leader Kim Radnell cleaned out 3 trailer loads of woody weeds from Felltimber Creek near the footbridge off Drages Rd, West Wodonga. Almost a ton of Tradescantia (wandering jew) went into one trailer load. Other weeds included Privet, Box Elder and wild Passionfruit. As the Before and After photos below show, a days work has made a huge difference, but there is still much more to be done!

The Friends of Felltimber Creek hope to plant the newly cleared area with native grasses this winter.
