A huge THANK YOU from Parklands to the Wodonga based Working for Victoria team. The team started in November and have been providing on-ground practical assistance for 2 days per week, helping us to catch up on works halted by COVID-19 restrictions.
The crew seem to be relishing this spring/summer weather and lapping up the physical work, with jobs like fencing and woody weeding high priority. Their enthusiasm, skill and environmental knowledge is greatly appreciated.
Parklands are pleased to support the WFV team with use of the depot, loan of equipment such as tools and trailers, and welding services for necessities like prefabricated fence strainer posts.
The team is managed by the North East Catchment Management Authority and is providing valuable assistance to Trust for Nature landholders, Parklands, Landcare and Friends groups in the local area.
