Join our dynamic team as our Communications Ranger, playing a pivotal leadership role in the use of a mix of mediums to communicate about the regional parks, projects, project partners, upcoming events, promotion of Parklands Albury Wodonga and fostering environmental education and stewardship. This position assists in the implementation of Parklands Strategic Plan.
This is a part-time position (0.2 FTE) with weekly hours able to be flexibly spread to suit the applicant. The role will primarily involve writing regular (weekly) stories and publishing these on our website (WordPress), social media; and e-newsletters (Mailchimp).
Prospective candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft systems and social media, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Tertiary qualifications in communications, environment, heritage or community development will be highly valued.
