A pedestrian bridge on the High Country Rail Trail at Bonegilla will be closed for refurbishment from Monday 20 March to Friday 25 March 2023. Local business RMR Engineering will be replacing the decking on the bridge.

This footbridge spans the Kiewa River near Middle Creek between Whytes Rd and Gullifer Lane. The closure will be clearly signposted and access blocked while works are in progress. Please plan your walk or ride to avoid this section and do not attempt to cross at this point while the decking is being replaced.

This project received grant funding from the Australian Government. A big thank you to the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery program, which has enabled significant local employment and improvements to the fantastic regional asset that is the High Country Rail Trail.
