A huge thanks to the Rotary Club of Albury Foundation for providing a new hydraulic auger, which is about to change the day-to-day work of Parklands volunteers and Rangers significantly.
After a six month wait for the auger to be shipped, it’s arrival was cause for celebration. The Murray Valley Centre team were there to help pick it up and were pretty impressed with the brand-new machine. “Gone are the days of hand digging and crow-barring holes!” said Alistair, MVC team leader.
This versatile piece of equipment will be ‘access all areas’, providing a safe and labour-saving means to install fences, sign posts and park infrastructure in our regional parks.
