A big Thank You to staff, family and friends from FC Circular, who turned out in – let’s face it – pretty ordinary conditions to plant and guard trees last weekend.
Despite the rain and cold, we got the job done and by lunch time had several hundred plants in the ground. These can only benefit from the rain and all were satisfied with a good morning’s work by the time those hot sausages in bread called us in.
The planting was part of community revegetation effort on the Murray floodplains west of Wodonga, with another date scheduled – hopefully with better weather – for 27th August.
All are welcome – please register here to join.
