Due to the current Covid19 situation, we regret to announce that the previously postponed Murray Running Festival will not go ahead in 2021.

Considering the ongoing uncertainties around movement and border closures, and the possible public health risk, Parklands have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel our signature running series.

The Murray Running Festival showcases the best bush parks and trails of our region and has in recent years been the core fundraiser supporting our ongoing conservation work in these parks. We have been proud to host the festival and thankful for the support of the running community. We have particularly appreciated the enthusiasm of runners for the variety of terrain, the views and the challenges provided by these magnificent park settings.

Parklands Albury Wodonga rely on the funds raised by our outdoor events to continue our work enabling the community to access and enjoy the natural bush settings of local rivers and hills. While we are naturally offering full refunds for those who have already paid entry fees for the 2020 Murray Running Festival, we would greatly appreciate any consideration of making these a donation.
