Following heavy rains we urge people to avoid the floodprone section of the High Country Rail Trail and Kiewa River nature trail.
Start your ride or walk at Ebden Reserve instead or climb Huon Hill to check out the floodwaters all around – they can be pretty spectacular!
The flood waters pictured below are of the Kiewa floodplain section of the High Country Rail Trail. While these waters will subside within a few days, it will be best to avoid these slippery and water logged areas for a few weeks.
