The historic trestle bridge on the High Country Rail trail at Dry Forest Creek came one step closer to completion this week, when the last of the massive replacement bridge girders were precisely installed using a crane. A big thank you to Dunns Cranes for their great rigger and operator skills.
This is not the first time Dunns have assisted with Parklands works where lateral thinking has been required. They problem-solved their way into carting the three Kiewa River bridge trusses and donated concrete pylons across the wild and woolly Kiewa floodplains, where no truck could drive, so that we could install this Riverina TAFE fabricated and SJE Consulting designed footbridge back in 2005.
Dunns Cranes also helped us to safely install our overhead water tank and SJE Consulting certified refurbished water tank stand at the Bhutanese Community Farm.
