The Murray Valley Centre’s Church Street workshop team delivered a year’s worth of tree stakes to the PAW offices this week, setting us up early for the 2018 planting season.

These sturdy stakes are hand made through a supported employment woodworking program, which allows people to utilise their skills in the workshop while earning a wage for themselves.

The program allows the Murray Valley Centre to provide a familiar and safe working environment while helping participants to develop their skills and abilities as individuals.

The service produces tomato and tree stakes, survey pegs and dog kennels that are sold in Albury-Wodonga and beyond. These sales in turn support the Murray Valley Centre’s day programs, provided to over 400 disAbility adults.
