As the Operations Service Coordinator for the NSW Rural Fire Service in the region, Inspector Marg Wehner has a wealth of knowledge about fire in this landscape.

We interviewed Marg in Bell’s Travelling Stock Reserve, Thurgoona, to find out what usually causes fires in this region, how the RFS responds, and the history of bushfires in this section of the Hume and Hovell Track.
