Thanks to the combined efforts of volunteers, Parklands rangers and local businesses, the Fulford Creek bridge is once again open for use at Murra Point.
Members of the Tallangatta and Bonegilla Rail Trail Action Groups and Green Army volunteers unearthed the bridge – which had been covered in coarse gravel – before laying fibreglass sheets to connect to the rail trail at both ends. The result is a good riding surface and free thoroughfare once again.
Many thanks to all of the hardworking volunteers and to the Burts family of Tallangatta for your assistance.
