The Wodonga Aboriginal Network Community Plan 2015-2019 was officially launched at Gateway Community Health today.
Four priority areas include creating a cultural hub, improving the situation for Indigenous Youth, promoting cross-border opportunities and collaborating with other Indigenous Networks.
The Plan prioritizes the goal to “Reinvigorate the Burraja Cultural Centre and expand it into a hub for building the culture, wellbeing and enterprise of the local Aboriginal people.” This welcome goal will not only bring life back to the Gateway island cultural centre but expand the reach and variety of programs emanating from that base.
Parklands congratulate the community on such a positive plan and look forward to working with you to make it happen.
