As the final term of the school year draws to a close the finishing touches are being put to student projects, among them this handmade bench seat on the Kiewa River.
Wodonga Senior Secondary College students Casey Seymour, Konner Williams, Bailey Gardener and Jordan Zangaleni have seen this project through from the drawing board to the riverside site. They not only designed the seat using computer software but calculated and gathered the materials, cut and welded the metal frame and prepared red gum slats, assembled and finished the bench and installed it on site.
Well done team; the result is a beautiful asset in the reserve that will be much appreciated by park users. We are very pleased to have been able to support this project and wish you all the best in your future creative endeavours.
