The High Country Rail Trail surface along the Lake Hume foreshore between Ludlows Reserve and Huon Reserve has been a notoriously “rocky ride”.

Local earthmoving business AP Delaney & Co recently completed an upgrade of this rough section, laying 1,200 tons of buckshot.  This section of the rail trail is an absolute dream to cycle along now.

Thanks to AP Delaney & Co for such a quality outcome.  This upgrade is part of the much appreciated Australian Government Community Infrastructure Development Fund grant that has been implemented in partnership with Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation, Wilsons Transformer Company and Bonegilla Rail Trail Advisory Group over the past year.

An official celebratory event is being planned for early 2016.
