Parklands have this week received statewide recognition of the proactive and strategic leadership of our magnificent Board of Directors in reaching the semi final round of the Victorian Regional Achievement & Community Awards.

The Awards are designed to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions individuals, communities and businesses are making throughout regional and rural Victoria.  Parklands recognition in the running for the Regional Development Victoria Leadership & Innovation Award is a tribute not only to our leadership, but to the inclusive “can-do” attitude and contributions of 107 partner organisations, working collaboratively towards a shared vision for the region.

The Leadership and Innovation category looks for tenacity, dedication, selflessness, leadership and innovative thinking, and acknowledges role models who through their leadership, innovation and driving force pave the way for others to follow. 

Finalists from all over Victoria will come together to celebrate the fantastic achievements of those in regional and rural areas at a Gala Awards Presentation Dinner in Melbourne on Friday 16th October.
