A locally made film has made it onto ABC Open. The film was made into a shorter, slicker version of the story for their ‘My Crazy Passion’ series. (ABC Open provides a voice for rural and regional residents, helping them share their stories through the ABC.)

The film Growing Galateah was released last week. It’s been featured on ABC Goulburn Murray radio, was ABC Environment’s top pick and is likely to be screened on ABC 24. However the most powerful way to publicise ABC Open stories is via social media, so if you get a chance to watch this 4 minute film and feel like sharing it with like-minded people, please do so.

Otherwise it may not play smoothly. Sincere thanks to John, Lauriston and ABC Open producer Suzi Taylor for helping create this film. We hope you enjoy it.

This is a great example of what some dedicated people can achieve. Take particular note of the before and after photographs at the end of the film. Truly inspirational stuff!
