Take Action

Parklands offer a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers to become involved. Indoors and outdoors, long or short term, all abilities, all ages and stages...

More

Parklands partners with a diversity of groups (Friends, Landcare, Sports Club, Service Clubs, Charities and Businesses) to offer the community fun ways to get physcially active and connect with our natural heritage. These range from community planting days, bush restoration workshops, park tours, bike rides, guided nature walks and trail runs.

More

Friends Groups and Co-Management Groups are self funded and self run groups who initiate their own programs in parks, collaborate with Parklands and have input to park decision making such as management plans.

More

The Parklands Board of Directors represent the key stakeholders and the general community. The Board's role is to undertake strategic regional parkland planning, develop policy and to monitor the development of programs on behalf of the community.

More

Events volunteers help out with those signature Parklands events like Trail runs. Perhaps you have just one day of the year that you can help out - there is definitely a job for you at a Parklands event!

More

We welcome fundraising partners to help raise the profile of fundraising events and fundraising projects through the donation of time, expertise and networks. We also welcome opportunities to jointly fundraise with fundraising partners, with the proceeds shared between both partners. Contact us to explore these opportunities.
