Parklands Albury Wodonga generates income to support the regional parklands through implementing a diversity of environmental service contracts on public land.
Standard stock exclusion farm fencing for cattle and / or sheep.
Spraying of summer and winter broadleaf weeds. Our focus is less broadacre and more specialised spot spraying in hill country and waterways. Where broadleaf weeds are larger woody weed species, our services also include woody weed control, using a mix of drilling (large), chainsaws (medium) and loppers / bowsaws (smaller weeds) with follow up foliage spraying.
Services include site preparation (spraying and slashing as required), species selection (ordering, collection, watering and sorting), planting and guarding. Each year, between 30,000 to 40,000 seedlings are planted and guarded across a diversity of easy access and difficult access sites.
Walking Track Construction and Maintenance
Services include site inspections, mapping, clearing, benching, signage design and installation. Track maintenance includes bi-annual spray and spring slashing of track verges. All staff have undertaken International Mountain Bike Association training and have been working to upgrade the various tracks and trails in the regional parklands to meet this quality standard.
Tailored Volunteer Programs
