Event Date: Saturday 21st October
Albury-Wodonga Ethnic Communities Council (AWECC), together with Parklands Albury Wodonga, Murray Valley Sanctuary Refugee Group, Gateway Health, Albury City Council, Wodonga Council and others invite you to walk with us from Gateway Village to Noreuil Park and back.
Walk Together 2017 is a walk for freedom: freedom to belong, freedom to be yourself, and freedom to hope. We walk to seek justice and compassion for all.
We share our future. Walk Together is a call to all Australians to recognise that as a diverse, multicultural society including people of all faiths and cultures, it is our responsibility to build the best future we can together. It is a call to recognise that only together, in unity and mutual respect, will this future be a bright one.
Only when we see the humanity in one another, see that we share common dreams of safety, belonging and fulfilling our full potential can we create a society in which all people are able to thrive.
Join us for the Albury-Wodonga Walk Together 2017 at 10am (registrations from 9.30am). The short walk (under 5km) will start and finish at Gateway Village, Lincoln Causeway, Wodonga.
