In partnership with the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network, Parklands is leading a series of field days for community members on nest boxes for threatened species.
This field day includes the installation of nest boxes along the Rail Trail in Wodonga. It will be a hands-on experience where people will learn to locate nest boxes, mount them appropriately and use a citizen science platform to record data.
No previous experience required. Morning tea included.
We will start and finish on on the southern side of Thomas Mitchell Drive where the Rail Trail crosses. Parking spaces next to Blueys Hunting and Fishing.
Please dress for the weather and bring your water bottle.
