The third in Parklands 20th Celebrations guided Park Tours, this will be an interesting day touring the newest sections of the High Country Rail Trail.
See the amazing work community volunteers have done restoring trestle bridges and making the High Country Rail Trail the iconic attraction it is today. Parklands Rangers will share stories of the history of the trails, what's been done to restore them and the next steps.
There will be plenty of stops for exploring, commentary and photos and a very special picnic spot for lunch.
When: 9.00am to 4.00pm.
Where: This is a driving tour, starting from the Parklands depot at PAW 138 Lemke Rd, Gateway Island. We will carpool from there.
What to bring: Please bring your own sandwiches/picnic lunch.
