The main work undertaken at Swainsona Reserve is to protect and enhance one of the two remaining remnant populations of Smooth Darling Pea in north east Victoria. In spring, the park becomes a sea of colors, not all of them native. St Johns Wort is a invasive weed in the park, which is being controlled through the release of biological controls.
