Noeline will have been with Parklands Albury Wodonga for 13 years in March 2016, and has seen many changes in that time.
Noeline originally heard through a friend that Parklands were looking for a bookkeeper and started out doing just a few hours per week. Since then her job has gone from part to full-time and back again, chopping and changing over the years as the organisation has changed.
She has been a part of the many relocations of the Parklands facilities, particularly the move from Burraja to the current Lemke Rd site. This was in a time when staff working bees were held regularly to bring staff together in a common cause. Noeline recalls monthly working bees developing the Bonegilla Migrant Expereince, doing maintenance along the Kiewa River, and cleaning up the Lemke Rd site, which was a local dumping ground at the time. It was a memorable experience - staff who might cross paths otherwise would stop their normal activities and work together on the same job.
Noelines skills lie in making and maintaining order in a workplace prone to chaos. She specialises in bookkeeping and finance and has been studying Accounting for the past few years via distance education. Noeline is moving out of the Parklands office in 2016 to launch into her new business; Wilds Bookkeeping Services. She will continue her role with Parklands as part of her business.
